Welcome to the Roseland
The Roseland Music Society is a registered charity based on the Roseland peninsula in south Cornwall. Championing live music, it has been bringing well established and up and coming performers and ensembles from Cornwall, the UK and futher afield to play in a series of concerts from September to June since 2003. It also supports music in schools, giving students access to the visiting musicians and workshops as well as free entry for young people to every concert. Further music education for all ages is provided through talks, programme notes and the popular informal, spoken introductions provided by the musicians.
We encourage locals and regular visitors to become members of the society for an annual fee of £16. Membership provides us with the confidence to be ambitious in our programming, and members with a discount on all tickets for the season. We also encourage donations (which can be gift-aided) to our Roseland Youth Music fund.
You do not have to be a member to come to our concerts though. If you support our mission and are keen to explore the incredible breadth of music performed, our concerts are a great place to meet others, both local and visitors, regular or occasional attendees. To share in supporting world class music-making in this special part of the world, please come along or contact us for more information.
